AHAHAHAHAHA THAT’S A GOOD ONE.
…There is more, right? *Delusional* D’:
BUT WAIT! It’s only page 93…
I want more of this! You can’t just kill something so cute and morbid!
wait! wut?! Ok I need a better explanation then what ever just occurred…
If that was truly the ending (which i hope it weren’t) you have just kicked something beautiful full on in the nuts and left it in a gutter to die.
wow. i just read it front to back instead of calling my fiance. that was definately worth the aggro im about to get off her. i need more though thats brilliant.
Saying this story was AMAZING is a HUGE under statement. BEST webcomic i’ve read on the internet- and ive read ALLOT of shit. I just found your stuff today- I’m curious as to what other stuff is hiding in your never ending archive.
But this comic here- was brilliant, the entire story, the entire artwork, the whole theme, every part about it made sense and was brilliant.
CANNOT BE FINISHED. Loved it the whole way through, especially the whole sepia notebook format, but the end was like, “Ok kids, thats all for tonight. Time for bed.” Kind of abrupt. I was so engaged, I really want to find out if theres something next.
I have been FAR TOO SLOW to dive into this Smart stuff. No more.
i just read on the homepage that you there are further chapters planned. i would love to read more. if not, then thank you for the lovely experience. one of my favorite pieces of art i have ever found on the internet. thank you for sharing it with us.
This is one of the best blends of bleakness, beauty, humor, nostalgia, panic (both social and mortal), and super-squeezable nightmarishly-proficient artwork. Everything about it was unexpected. I love it, dude.
Deathmonger is LOST. Which girl turned into the bug? Why is Kochi special? What exactly did kochi draw in that book? Why is the glasses kid such a little DICK??
oh wow neat.. just everything about it was a kick in the gut with pure sad….stuff… from the smashed bugs crudely taped to the leather paper the look of hand written text, and the visibility of the guidelines in the faces or how the page starts so detailed but begins to fade away its just overwhelmingly pleasant to the eyes.. Ive always enjoyed abrupt endings, cliff hangers and all that jazz it always leads you wanting more and makes your mind race with ideas.. I’m sure you have heard this before but it would be super rad to own this in book form rather… regardless this was thoroughly enjoyable
I’ll be honest … I loved this from page one to the sudden end. The art style is flawless as well as beautiful. Perhaps one of the best web comics I’ve read in quite sometime! Maybe you’ll decide to further this masterpiece or leave it as it is, either way I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, thank you!
Wow that was so cool! Ohhh I would love to buy it in a little leather bound notebook, that would blow my mind 🙂
